Marvell Technology is a data infrastructure semiconductor company founded in 1995 by Sehat Sutardja, Weili Dai and Pantas Sutardja. With its registered headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware and main US operations in Santa Clara, California, Marvell supplies chips for cloud and enterprise data centers, carrier networks and automotive systems. Marvell's product lines include Alaska Ethernet PHY transceivers, Prestera and Link Street Ethernet switches, hard drive and SSD controllers, OCTEON multi-core processors, electro-optics for data center interconnect and custom ASICs. Its acquisitions of Cavium, Inphi and Aquantia expanded its reach into infrastructure processors, high-speed optical connectivity and multi-gig and automotive Ethernet.
